NDIS counselling and employment support

Rehabilitation counsellors are trained in both mental health and employment, so we can help with how someone is feeling and with what comes next: study, work or volunteering. We support self-managed and plan-managed participants aged 13 and over, in our North Lakes office, by telehealth, and at school.

We are not a registered NDIS provider, so we can't support NDIA-managed (agency-managed) plans.

What we offer

Support for the whole transition

Vocational and career counselling

We look at skills, interests and any limitations to set realistic goals for study, work or volunteering.

Job search and workplace support

Resumes, interview skills and job searching, plus workplace adjustments and assistive technology once someone starts work.

Functional and vocational assessments

Clear assessments of abilities and needs, with practical recommendations and reports for the plan.

Adjustment to disability counselling

Support to navigate life changes, using approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy and motivational interviewing.

Working with the whole team

We work alongside families, schools, support coordinators, employers and treating teams so everyone pulls in the same direction.
